Hello!

My Story

I am Anita Williams, a wife, mother of two, and grandmother of six. I've worked as an office manager for a Physical Medicine practice for twenty plus years. And now, I'm retired, but embarking on my second career as an author.

For many years, I've written children's stories and devotionals, as well as Bible studies and Sunday school curricula for the adult class I currently lead on Sundays. I've been honored to serve as a past National Programs and Devotionals Editor and writer for Women's Missionary Fellowship - Evangelical Friends Church North America.

In June of 2022 came my first publishing credit officially making me a published author. A devotional I wrote:  Navigating Our Ocean of Life, was chosen to be included in the book Anchor in the Storm, Volume 1, published by EABooks, Living Parables of Central Florida. Available on Amazon.

My second publishing credit came only a few months later. I was honored to write a non-fiction article about Chiropractic treatment. This article, written for boys ages 9 to 14, entitled: Spine-Tingling Care, was published in the Cadet Quest Magazine's November 2022 issue. This issue of Cadet Quest then went on to win an award.

For the past eighteen years, I've written a monthly devotional newsletter, which I email and snail-mail to subscribers. I also post these devotionals here under the heading, Newsletters. If you would like to receive these monthly devotionals right to your inbox, please subscribe on the Home page.

In the past, along with my newsletters, I've also posted other items, such as prayers, Bible studies, freebies, etc. to my original blog website: www.meatforthehungry.com. I started this blog website in 2012, and I continue to keep it up and running. In addition to all that, currently I have some exciting news.

I've just published my first novel:

Archangels: Beginnings

Archangels: Beginnings is a Biblical Fiction. It's basically, the Bible from Archangel Michael's point of view. This first book provides possible answers in story form to Jesus's statement in Luke 10:18: "...I saw Satan Fall like lightning from heaven."  Have you ever wondered what might have happened in heaven before Satan fell to Earth like lightning? I've always wanted to know and I feel the LORD gave me a possible scenario.
